GTK - Gevgelija Tocak Club
We are an association of passionate cyclists who share a love for biking. Whether you are a road cyclist, mountain biker, or just enjoy riding for fun, there is a place for everyone. Our mission is to promote cycling as a healthy and sustainable mode of transport, provide education and resources for all levels of riders, and bring like-minded people together to explore new destinations and enjoy each other's company. Our club was founded in 2022 by a group of enthusiasts who wanted to create a community of cyclists from all skill levels. In just one year, we have grown and become one of the largest and found ourselves in the company of the most active cycling clubs in Macedonia. We are proud to have a diverse membership base, with cyclists of all ages, male and female, with different beliefs coming together to share their love of cycling. In addition to our regular club rides, GTK also hosts various events throughout the year, including charity rides, road races, mountain biking events, and social gatherings. We believe that cycling is a great way to stay in shape, explore new places, and connect with others, and we are dedicated to making cycling accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Membership is open to all who are interested in cycling, and we welcome cyclists of all skill levels. Whether you are an experienced professional or a beginner, you are always welcome at GTK. Creating Conditions to Attract Cycling Tourists Through Promotion of Local Catering and Accommodation Facilities in the Southeast Region
By implementing this initiative, we enable integrated tourist promotion of local catering and accommodation facilities in Gevgelija and the region that are 'bike friendly', and also through training for cycling guides among the members of the Gevgelija Wheel Club, we enable sustainability of the association and the possibility of increasing the number of tourists in Gevgelija and the region.
